Office 365 Workshop - Part 1/3:  Get Started!

The definition of the word Collaboration is a subject of many interpretations.  The best way to figure out a new technology is to immerse yourself into that technology. While there are many online training materials, most of them seem to address a broader scope that is too overwhelming.

The BuckeyeSPUG steering committee would like to help our SharePoint technology community by helping with the on-board process. We have designed a 3-part series that would help you better understand the cloud technologies (from a SharePoint technology perspective). To this effect, we are doing a compressed hands-on workshop specifically tailored to get you started with Office 365 from scratch.

The Best 45mins spent.!  Yes, we will walk you through the process of creating a trial tenant (Tenant = your own personal private SharePoint) in ONE meeting.  This tenant will contain a myriad of templates and sample sites.  We will also be on-hand to answer any questions about Hybrid configurations, AD security, etc.

Requirements:
   1. Valid email (your personal one or a throw-away one)
   2. Internet enable device (laptop, tablet, etc)
 
Outcome:  fully functional Office365 Enterprise E3 tenant that you can use as your testing environment to get familiar with o365.​
